He was well-regarded in his community and enjoyed painting cars and spending time with his loved ones. On the night of his death, Stevens was found shot alongside his best friend, Quincy Ratcliff, outside the Bethany Court Apartments.
The two men were discovered lying near a vehicle in the middle of the street, not far from Ratcliff's apartment. The incident was reported to the police following a 911 call about shooting activity in the area.
