Nekecheana Shantori Phillips, a 27-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost her life on December 21, 2018. The incident occurred just one day after she had been granted a domestic violence injunction against her ex-boyfriend, Eric Lamar Jackson. On that fateful day, Phillips was shot multiple times while seeking refuge inside a car parked outside her home on Hunt Street in Jacksonville's Lackawanna neighborhood.
