Mathew D. Stringer, a 21-year-old Black male, was tragically killed on April 13, 2021, in Hialeah Gardens, Florida. The incident occurred around 2:20 PM at a bus stop outside a Home Depot near Northwest 138th Street and W. Okeechobee Road. Mathew, along with two coworkers, was waiting for a bus when a man approached them and opened fire. Mathew was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two victims, aged 38 and 66, were critically injured and transported to local hospitals.
