Sherman Knight, a 20-year-old from Pensacola, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 10, 2022, during a violent altercation. Knight, along with his friends Dominic Burleson and Jamaine Flowers, had planned an ambush to kill Derrick Daniels at the intersection of Bobe and G streets. The three men approached Daniels and initiated gunfire. However, Daniels, acting in self-defense, returned fire, and one of his shots struck Knight in the chest.
