Demarco Banks Jr., a 15-year-old, lost his life to gun violence on March 14, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida. The incident occurred at the Gonzalez Court apartment complex on N 9th Avenue.

The suspect in the case is 14-year-old Remington Crumbs, who has been charged with the murder of Demarco Banks Jr. Following the shooting, Crumbs was located and placed into custody. Additionally, 19-year-old Rumariya Union was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact, a felony charge.
