Deputy Game Warden Ernest Raynaud, aged 28, tragically lost his life on April 16, 1913, near San Quentin Point in the San Francisco Bay. On that fateful evening, Warden Raynaud and another deputy game warden were patrolling the waters when they observed a group of fishermen illegally netting fish.
