Frank DeLeon, a 44-year-old correctional officer at San Quentin State Prison, tragically lost his life on August 21, 1971, during one of the deadliest days in the prison's history. Officer DeLeon, along with Officers Jere Graham and Paul Krasenes, was killed during a violent prison uprising.
