Victor Rea, a 20-year-old resident of Garden Grove, California, tragically lost his life on November 5, 1984. His death was part of a brutal crime spree carried out by Teofilo Medina Jr., who had recently been released from the Arizona Corrections Department after serving a term for rape. Medina's spree spanned over 25 days in October and November 1984, during which he killed four young men, all clerks at gas stations or drive-in dairies in Orange and Riverside counties.
