Horacio Ariza Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Garden Grove, California, tragically lost his life on October 18, 1984. His death was part of a series of brutal murders committed by Teofilo Medina Jr. during a crime spree that spanned several weeks in October and November of that year. Medina, who had been released from the Arizona Corrections Department just three months prior, embarked on a violent rampage that resulted in the deaths of four young men, including Ariza.
