Melvin Thompson, aged 49, was tragically murdered on June 14, 1990, in Los Angeles, California. He was the owner of Kayser Service, an auto repair shop in Santa Monica. On the evening of his death, Melvin was closing his shop when he was gunned down in the bathroom. Initially, it was believed that he was killed during a robbery, as the assailant stole cash and a Rolex watch from him. However, further investigation revealed a more sinister plot behind his death.
