In the late summer of 2008, a 34-year-old woman named Maria Celia Caguana Chungata vanished while attempting to cross the border from Mexico into the United States. She was last seen on August 18, 2008, in the area north of Altar, Sonora, a region known as a staging point for border crossings into Arizona. At the time of her disappearance, Maria was described as a Hispanic female, standing between 5'7' and 5'9' tall and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. She had long, thick ...
