Wayne Drummond Jr., a 23-year-old from Oakland, California, tragically died on September 4, 2006, after being shot. The incident occurred near the University of California, Berkeley campus. Drummond, who had aspirations of studying environmental design at UC Berkeley, was working for UPS at the time of his death. He had moved to the Bay Area from Southern California, where he had grown up after immigrating from Jamaica at the age of 12.
