Ronald Tsugio Tsukamoto, a 28-year-old officer with the Berkeley Police Department, tragically lost his life on August 20, 1970. Officer Tsukamoto was conducting a routine traffic stop at the intersection of University Avenue and Jefferson Avenue around 1:00 am.
