Andrew W. Lindquist, a 28-year-old Deputy Sheriff with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, tragically lost his life on January 12, 1910, in Berkeley, California. Lindquist was performing his routine rounds, checking businesses along San Pablo Avenue, when he entered a saloon located at Cordonices Creek.
