Lamont Thomas Jones, a 30-year-old Black man, was tragically shot and killed on September 1, 2014, in Los Angeles, California. The incident occurred in the 900 block of West Florence Avenue in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood. According to reports, the shooting took place around 2:10 p.m. at the Green Forest Car Wash.
