On April 21, 2023, at approximately 9:00 PM, 40-year-old Taurean Davis was fatally shot in a parking lot near Main Street and Century Boulevard in South Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Davis was approached by two individuals who opened fire on him before fleeing the scene.
