Tyshawn Lawrence Butler, a 19-year-old resident of Gardena, California, tragically lost his life on March 12, 2015. The incident occurred near the intersection of West El Segundo Boulevard and Cimarron Avenue in Hawthorne. According to reports, Butler was in a Ford SUV when a green vehicle approached and an individual inside opened fire, striking Butler.
