On March 26, 2021, Atif Muhammad, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in his home in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The incident also claimed the life of his mother, Mary Lindsey, aged 39. The Gwinnett County Police Department responded to an emergency call that afternoon and discovered both victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
