Dr. William Thomas Hargrove, Jr., a 67-year-old male, died on September 2, 2024, in a shooting incident that unfolded in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The violence also left another man wounded.
Early that Monday morning, just after 6:45 a.m., the Hall County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a woman reporting a shooting inside a residence on Osborne Road. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Hargrove suffering from what was described as multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
Investigators at the scene learned that a second individual, a 33-year-old man who also resided at the home, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds as well. This second victim had already been taken to the hospital by a family member before law enforcement arrived. His identity was not publicly released, and he was reported to be receiving treatment for his injuries.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office has stated that their investigation into the deadly shooting is ongoing. As of the initial reports, authorities had not released any information regarding a potential suspect or any arrests that may have been made in connection with the case.
