Ramon Dominguez Jr., a 16-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on September 23, 2015. The young teenager was shot just after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Virginia and Quantico avenues. Despite being rushed to Kern Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries approximately half an hour later. Ramon was remembered by his family and community as a young man with aspirations of becoming a firefighter, a dream that was cut short by this senseless act of violence.
