On August 27, 2023, at approximately 5 a.m., 61-year-old Nathaniel Alexander Grier was fatally shot in the 900 block of South Union Avenue in Bakersfield, California. The Kern County Coroner's Office confirmed that Grier died at the scene from his injuries.

Prior to his death, Grier had multiple encounters with law enforcement. In March 2015, he was arrested by the Bakersfield Police for possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. Additionally, in August 2016, he faced charges r ...
