Christian Casillas, a 20-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on the night of September 28, 2016. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the Elmhurst area of East Oakland, specifically in the 1900 block of Auseon Avenue. Casillas was in the neighborhood with some relatives to pick up another family member when a car drove by, stopped, and someone inside the vehicle began shooting at them.
