Ramiro Bautista-Perez, a 25-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2019. Bautista-Perez was fatally shot while sitting in the 2500 block of Embarcadero near Union Point Park. The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on January 5, 2019, when an unknown assailant in a passing vehicle opened fire, striking Bautista-Perez.
