The investigation into
Hernandez's death led to the arrest of two individuals. Salevi Levi, a 22-year-old former assistant freshman football coach at Archbishop Riordan High School, was one of the suspects. Levi was charged with multiple felony counts, including murder, attempted murder, and assault with a semi-automatic firearm. Additionally, he faced a misdemeanor charge for carrying a loaded firearm. Levi's employment at the high school was terminated after he failed to show up for work on October 31, 2016. He remains in custody with bail set at $15 million.
Another suspect, Dennis Paulo-Tufono, aged 23, was also charged in connection with Hernandez's murder. Paulo-Tufono faced similar charges, including murder, attempted murder, assault with a semi-automatic firearm, and being an accessory after the fact. He is being held without bail. Both suspects were scheduled for court appearances shortly after their arrests.
