On June 5, 2024, at approximately 10:09 p.m., 19-year-old Luis Manuel Arguello-Inglis was fatally shot in San Francisco's Dolores Park, located between 18th and 19th streets. Officers from the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) responded to reports of gunfire and found Arguello-Inglis on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
