Jermaine Jackson Jr., a 27-year-old San Francisco Public Works employee, was tragically killed on November 30, 2016, while performing his duties. Jackson was painting over graffiti on an electrical box at the intersection of 25th Street and Vermont Street in the Potrero Hill neighborhood when he was fatally shot multiple times from a vehicle.
