Ilario Bertuccio, an 81-year-old janitor, was tragically shot and killed on December 20, 1973, in San Francisco, California. Bertuccio was walking home from work in the Bay View district when he was attacked. He was shot four times in the shoulder and chest, leading to his immediate death.
