Luis Canseco, a 17-year-old resident of Vista, California, tragically lost his life on October 25, 2016. His body was discovered in the middle of Smilax Road around 8:34 p.m. that evening. The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death as a homicide. According to family members, Canseco was shot multiple times and beaten before being left in the street.
