Death by Force

On November 4, 2018, Jonathan Ruiz, a 19-year-old resident of Vista, California, was tragically shot and killed near the Vista Transit Center. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. when Ruiz was walking along a path by the Vista Manor mobile home park. He was approached by two individuals who opened fire, striking him twice in the torso.
