Jai Bornstein, a 19-year-old from Bakersfield, California, tragically died on December 31, 2016. According to the Kern County Coroner's Office, Jai's death was officially ruled as a suicide. The cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Jai's body was discovered in Hart Park after she had been reported missing earlier that week. Her disappearance had prompted a search by friends and family, who were devastated by the news of her passing.
