Rejina Garcia Terriquez, a 24-year-old woman from Bakersfield, California, tragically lost her life on December 5, 2021, in a murder-suicide incident. According to reports, Rejina was shot and killed by her husband, Arsenio Ismael Rubio, who was 29 years old at the time. The incident occurred inside their home, where Rubio shot Rejina before retreating to his car and taking his own life. The Kern County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Rejina's death was a homicide and Rubio's was a suicide.
