Richard LaBar, a 58-year-old man from East Stroudsburg, PA, was tragically shot and killed on December 11, 2017, while delivering a pizza for Domino's. The incident occurred near the campus of East Stroudsburg University, where LaBar was ambushed by three individuals who had planned a robbery. LaBar was shot in the face at close range by Israel Berrios, a 17-year-old armed with a sawed-off shotgun. LaBar succumbed to his injuries the following day, on his 58th birthday.
