On December 15, 2023, at approximately 9:45 p.m., 20-year-old Tarod Mitchell was fatally shot while standing with others near the intersection of North Mittman Street and Arthur Street in San Antonio, Texas. A white Kia sedan approached the group, and occupants opened fire, striking Mitchell and another individual. Despite receiving medical attention, Mitchell succumbed to his injuries.
