Douglas Navarro, aged 49, was tragically shot and killed on January 11, 2017, in Anaheim, California. The incident occurred at the Crystal Inn motel on Lincoln Avenue, where Navarro resided with his mother. The suspect, Luke Theodore Lampers, a 35-year-old transient, was identified as the perpetrator. The altercation that led to Navarro's death began when Lampers arrived at the motel looking for his ex-girlfriend, Brianne Deese, whom he intended to take to rehab.
