On January 24, 2021, Aurel Trandafir, a 42-year-old man visiting from Romania, was fatally shot at Abby’s Anaheimer Inn in Anaheim, California. The incident occurred around 7:37 PM when Anaheim Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting at the motel located at 1201 W. Katella Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Trandafir suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
