Death by Force

Javoni Foster, a 20-year-old resident of Antioch, California, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2018, in Richmond, California. Foster was shot shortly before 1 p.m. on the 1000 block of South 55th Street. After being shot, he managed to drive a short distance before crashing his car near Crescent Park. Despite emergency medical efforts, he was pronounced dead later that day. This incident marked the first homicide in Richmond in five months, ending a period of relative peace in the city.
