William Cody Tate, a 40-year-old resident of San Pablo, California, tragically passed away on October 17, 2019. His body was discovered near train tracks in North Richmond, specifically around Parr Boulevard and Giant Road. Initially, authorities suspected that Tate had been shot due to the appearance of his injuries. Richmond police and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
