Thao Quoc Luu, a 70-year-old resident of San Jose, California, tragically lost his life on May 20, 2018, in a shooting incident at his home. The San Jose Police Department responded to a call at approximately 7:38 p.m. on the 2600 block of Senter Road, where they found Thao Luu and his wife, Kim Lan Ly, suffering from gunshot wounds. Thao Luu was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife was critically injured and later succumbed to her injuries nearly three months after the incident.
