Frank Daniel Perez, a 24-year-old Latino, was tragically shot and killed on July 15, 2018, in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s records, the incident occurred shortly before 1:15 a.m. when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division responded to a call of a shooting.
