Cody Lee Gifford-Coffman, a 22-year-old from Thousand Oaks, California, tragically lost his life on November 7, 2018, during a mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill. The incident occurred during a College Country Night event, which was popular among college students and young adults. On that fateful night, a gunman, identified as Ian David Long, opened fire inside the crowded bar, resulting in the deaths of 12 people, including Gifford-Coffman.
