Mark "Marky" Meza Jr., a 20-year-old from Thousand Oaks, California, tragically lost his life on November 7, 2018, in the mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill. Marky was one of the twelve victims who were killed when a gunman opened fire at the popular venue. The incident occurred during a college country night event, which was attended by many young people.
