On the night of April 13, 2019, 24-year-old Hispanic male Daniel Jeremy Macias was found fatally shot in a vehicle parked at a shopping center in South Bakersfield, California. Responding officers discovered Macias with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A postmortem examination confirmed that the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner was ruled a homicide.
