Kevin Lashawn Mallard, a 17-year-old from Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on June 6, 2020. On that fateful night, around 10:35 p.m., officers from the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to the 2600 block of Edmonton Street following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they discovered Kevin inside a vehicle that had collided with a detached garage.
