Scott Thomson, a 28-year-old resident of Chico, California, tragically lost his life on July 26, 2020. The incident occurred on a Sunday afternoon at the intersection of West Ninth Street and Cedar Street. According to reports, Scott Thomson suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body and was quickly transported to Enloe Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Chico Police Department responded to the shooting at approximately 12:31 p.m. and immediately began their investigation.
