Devalon Reed, 40, was fatally shot on September 13, 2012, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred late at night on Leonidas Street in the city's Second District. Police responded to a call reporting gunfire and found Devalon with a gunshot wound at the scene. Despite the arrival of emergency services, Reed was pronounced dead before any life-saving measures could be administered.
