Javier Montes-Medina, a 35-year-old resident of Santa Rosa, California, tragically lost his life in a gang-related drive-by shooting on July 5, 2021. The incident occurred shortly after midnight in the 1500 block of Beachwood Drive, where a large group had gathered to set off illegal fireworks in celebration of the Fourth of July.
