Artemio Rios Garcia, a 37-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on October 5, 2021. The incident occurred in the evening at a residence located in the 700 block of Digges Lane in South Bakersfield. According to reports from the Bakersfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:30 p.m. following a call about a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
