Tyis Leon Rush, a 21-year-old resident of Bakersfield, California, tragically lost his life on August 14, 2021. The incident occurred in South Bakersfield on Planz Road near Raider Drive. Emergency crews responded to the scene just before 6 p.m. and found Rush suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office later confirmed his identity.
