On April 19, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m., Bakersfield police officers responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon near the intersection of River Boulevard and Panorama Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Ronald Josue Rivera Hernandez in the parking lot of Panorama Park, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
