On September 1, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., 43-year-old Michael "Scrappy" Pinon was fatally shot in the 1000 block of Monterey Street in east Bakersfield, California.

Upon arrival, officers found Pinon with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the suspect remains unidentified. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities actively seeking information from the public to aid in solving this case. Anyone with infor ...
